Lunar Eclipse - British Weather strikes again

Here we are again - an astronomical event, denied to us because of the crappy British weather.

We should have been able to see a total lunar eclipse tonight, but what do we see when we look to the heavens? Cloud, cloud and more cloud. Time after time, the British weather manages to foil any chance of seeing eclipses, meteor showers etc.
