Tiger overwrites httpd.conf
A warning to all those who host a website using Apache built into Mac OS X.
Installing Tiger will overwrite your httpd.conf file.
This is your Apache config file. The effect of this (amongst others) is that any PHP installation you have will stop working. .htaccess files also seem to be disabled by default, so if you are using these, they will also stop working. Tiger does backup your file, but beware of simply using this backup to replace the current file, as Apple has renamed ‘Rendezvous’ to ‘Bonjour’ and any references to the former will cause errors.
Tiger also removed my printer drivers without warning, and I had to reinstall both my Deskjet 995C and Canon CP300
