Hi Bal

I don't know of a cable for extending the dock connector from the one in your glovebox but a quick google reveals that they do exist. Whether you can get hold of one in the UK is another matter.

The phone holder is made by Brodit (Proclip range) - you buy a bracket to suit your car and one to suit the phone. In the UK, they are distributed by DSL Developments.

As regards 3G/3GS, I don't think it makes a difference.

Hi Ian.
I bought a 2000 year BMW 7 series and it has a Denison Ice-Link V2 system. Do you know if I could connect up the iPHONE 3GS (rather than 3G) with this ICE-LINK V2 system using the Scosche connector and a cable? Which cable can be used to connect to the iPOD connector within the glovebox?
Where can I buy the dash mount for iPHONE as you have shown on your photo? I think it would be better to have the phone outside rather than within the little glovebox.
Thanks.
