{"id":187,"date":"2005-10-24T22:09:30","date_gmt":"2005-10-24T21:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ianfitter.com\/blog\/?p=187"},"modified":"2009-01-25T15:13:51","modified_gmt":"2009-01-25T15:13:51","slug":"linksys-router-rma-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ianfitter.com\/blog\/2005\/10\/24\/linksys-router-rma-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Linksys Router RMA update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, after still receiving no further word from Linksys about the <a href=\"https:\/www.ianfitter.com\/blog\/2005\/10\/12\/linksys-router-goes-titsup\/\">RMA procedure<\/a>, I emailed to find out what was going on, but got no reply.<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday, I got a note through the door saying that UPS had tried to make a delivery. I was confused by this, because they hadn&#8217;t even arranged to pick up my old defunct router. Did they really mean delivery, or did they mean to put pickup? If so, then I was still waiting for the address label to be emailed.<\/p>\n<p>Two things then happened today:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I finally got an email from UPS containing a link to an electronic mailing label, which I needed to put on the old router.<\/li>\n<li>UPS delivered a brand new shrink wrapped replacement router<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fortunately, this has given me a box to return the old router.
